West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts entrance exams for various UG/PG programs. Many candidates appear for these exams. JENPAS is a common entrance test for UG courses like Nursing and Paramedical.
Why JENPAS UG 2024?
WBJEEB will conduct an OMR-based JENPAS exam for admission to various colleges in West Bengal for the academic session 2024-25. If you seek admission to the following courses, you must appear in JENPAS(UG) 2024.

- B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
- B.M.L.T (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology)
- B.Sc. CCT (B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology)
- B.Sc. OTT (B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology)
- B.Sc. PT (B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology)
- B.Sc. PA (B.Sc. in Physician Assistant)
- B.Sc. MMB (B. Sc. In Medical Microbiology)
- B.V.S.O (Bachelor of Vision Sciences and Optometry)
- B.H.A. (Bachelor in Hospital Administration)
JENPAS UG 2024 Exam Date
The Common Entrance Test is typically held in June each year. However, the official exam date for the 2024 session has yet to be announced. It is expected to occur on the second or third Sunday of June. There are two papers: one for the BHA program and one for the other 9 programs.
Jan 24 update: WBJEE Board released tentative Date of examination: 30th June 2024 (Sunday).
In the JENPAS application, a candidate can apply for only Paper I, only Paper II, or both.

JENPAS UG Syllabus
Paper 1, which is applicable to all courses except BHA, will be based on the curriculum of 11th and 12th standards.
On the other hand, for BHA, Paper 2 will be based on Physical Science and Mathematics of the 10th standard, whereas General Knowledge, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning will be equivalent to the 12th standard.
JENPAS Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for the application, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be domiciled in West Bengal.
- The candidate must have already passed or appeared in class 12 in the (10+2) system in 2024 only.
- The candidate’s age must be at least 17 years as of 31.12.2024.
JENPAS Application Fee
- For only Paper I or only Paper- II, the application fee for the examination is Rs 500 (Rs 400 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates).
- If you are applying for both Papers, the application fee for the examination is Rs 800 (Rs 650 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates).
JENPAS UG Application Form – How to Apply
The application for the exam must be filled out and submitted online only. Only one application per candidate. Provide a valid email ID and phone number while completing the application form.
Tentative Schedule of JENPAS UG Examinations 2024
- The application form is available online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/
- Before applying, applicants are advised to go through the “Information Bulletin JENPAS(UG)-2024″(available at the above-mentioned official website).
- The candidates will enter personal details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, address, etc.
- Make sure to fill in the correct information, especially personal information, because once submitted, you can’t change these.
- Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature.
- Pay the application fee.
- You must print the filled application form for your record.
